The Challenges
As the client’s business grew, they started spending more time on
1. Processing orders
2. Building portals to service large clients
3. Adding custom coded products. For a reference one product takes anywhere between 40-90mins to add after formatting and custom coding for it to be editable on the client side.
Therefore, managing orders, portals and products back-office processes was getting difficult for them and they were looking for a service provider who could swiftly handle all tasks so that they could concentrate on their core activities and help them not lose any customer.
Our Solution
Keeping in mind all the project challenges and the client requirements, we approached this in the following way:
1. 2 FT resource, 1 PT Process Manager and 1 L&D manager was deployed for an intensive 3.5 weeks training program where all the download from the internal and portal was taken
2. A comprehensive Knowledge Base was developed followed by detailed SOPs
3. Process Manager (1 per 5 assignments) designed the delegation process, put the process on a task management tool (Asana) and kicked it off

The client’s high-cost manual processes using band aid system was stopped after we took over almost 80% of their back-office operations
The clients’ side account manager who would spend almost half of his time in doing processing work is now focusing on building new businesses
